Apple Crumble

The Pinto Post | Recipes - Apple Crumble: The perfect dessert to quickly prepare with minimum ingredients! So lets go pick some seasonal fruits and get cracking.

A simple yet tasty recipe. All you need is some-

  • 1 cup chopped Apples (Any any seasonal fruit) 
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 cup blended Oats
  • 1/2 cup whole oats
  • 1 tbsp Butter (Room Temperature)
  • A pinch of Cinnamon powder

Let's get started...

In a pan add the chopped apples,1 tbsp Brown sugar, and saute until thick. Once done add the cinnamon powder and keep aside. In a bowl combine the Oats powder, whole Oats, Brown sugar, and butter. Mix together well, it should be crumbly of course. In a ramekin, fill about half of it with the apple sauce and top it up with the oats crumble mix. In a preheated oven, bake the crumble for about 15-20mins at 180c. While it's nice and golden brown its all ready to serve. I like to consume it while its warm and top it up with cold store brought vanilla custard. Yummy in my tummy.
