Kebab Spaghetti

The Pinto Post | Recipes - Kebab Spaghetti: Don't we all have leftover after a family BBQ party? NO? just me? Well, since I always have kebabs or hotdogs leftover, I use them the next day to make some spaghetti, Lets get cracking...

I always have some meat leftover after a family BBQ get together! This time I tried my hands on a Spaghetti kebab since we barbequed a ton of kebabs and hot dogs. I purchased the readymade kebabs from my local Persian supermarket and the spinach from my own garden. Let's BE VOCAL FOR LOCAL. Let's go!

All you need is-

  • 3 roasted beef/chicken kebabs
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 300g spaghetti
  • 1 medium onion (Sliced)
  • 2 Tomatoes peeled and chopped or 1 can
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Spices as you like.
  • I used 1tsp of Turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and tandoori masala
  • Salt as per taste

Let's start.

In a saucepan add water, bring it to a boil, add the spaghetti and cook for 5 minutes or as per the label. Cool under cold water to prevent further cooking and strain in a colander. In a separate pan add the oil, chopped onions and saute until golden brown, Then add the tomatoes and cook for another minute and add the tomato paste. If it sticks to the pan add little water and continue cooking. Add the spinach and spices and make a thick paste, once done add the kebabs chopped in pieces. Lastly, add the cooked spaghetti and salt and switch off the flame. I used a little grated cheese while serving it. ENJOY!
